Visit Malaysia Year 2007

Malaysia will celebrate it’s 50th year of independence since. A significant milestone indeed and Malaysians plans to celebrate all year round with Visit Malaysia Year 2007.The 2007 event calendar is already starting to fill up.

This is the third Visit Malaysia Year. The first was in 1990 and in 1994. Organised by the Malaysian Tourism Board the Visit Malaysia Campaign has been slowly gaining momentum over the past months, including the release of the Visit Malaysia theme song, entitled One Golden Celebration sung by Juwita Suwito, a talented local singer and voice coach, in Bahasa Melayu and English,while the Mandarin version by Chew Paul May. There’s also an instrumental version of the song which was composed by Kieran Kuek who also co-wrote the lyrics with Ismail Paul Lingan. It’s a very catchy tune.Members of the public can download the theme song from the Tourism Malaysia website or here at my Music Download site.
